My name is Claudia Saracin, and I am the founder of the Fathyia brand. I didn’t plan to create this brand. I practiced as a dentist for a few years, but it seems my being had other plans for me. It was a process that happened on its own, slowly and surely.

The word Fathyia comes from ancient Sanskrit and translates as blessing, pure joy. I searched for almost a year for a word that could broadly represent what I feel when I create these products.

FATHYIA is truly a blessing. It connects me with my being, with God, permanently keeping love, joy, and creativity alive. The workshop is a sacred place where I return daily, longing for a new adventure.
The ancient wisdom of plants inspires me; I am fascinated by the lush botanical active ingredients that nourish the skin and hair, by everything that Mother Earth generously offers us: seeds, nuts, flowers, plants.

I am lucky to have benefited from the online platforms of award-winning organic cosmetic science schools.
They have given me experience, support, and inspiration and have greatly accelerated my progress as a professional formulator. I discovered the science behind creating a recipe, I learned to slow down and carefully look at the ingredients, to understand how they work, how they act on the skin, how they look in the final container.
I am extremely grateful for the presence in my life of an exceptional lady, Elham Eghbali, the founder of Skinchakra, with over 25 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and consulting for cosmetic manufacturers.
